Made by people who get it.
John Redmond, Founder of Better Blends, knows firsthand how challenging it can be to find a protein powder that doesn’t upset your stomach. After more than a decade of navigating digestive issues and facing a cancer diagnosis, John partnered with his dietitian to create a protein powder designed with sensitive digestion in mind.
The result? Better Blends: The Original Gut-Friendly Protein® — created for people who want to fuel their bodies, increase their protein intake, and feel their best, without the digestive drama.
Questions we get.
Is Better Blends safe on a low FODMAP diet?
Yes. Better Blends is Monash University Low FODMAP Certified™. Monash has assessed this product for FODMAPs, and one serve (1 scoop) can assist with following the low FODMAP diet, including the elimination phase.
I have IBS. Will this upset my stomach?
It's made without the whey, inulin, sugar alcohols and gums that commonly cause bloating, and the formula is lab-tested by Monash University to stay low FODMAP at a full scoop. Every gut is different, so if you're unsure, start with a smaller serving and check in with your dietitian.
How much protein is in a scoop?
Both Vanilla Dream and Chocolate Swirl have 20 g of protein per scoop, from pea and organic brown rice protein. Both have 0 g sugar and 20 servings per bag.
How do I use it? How does it taste?
Add 1 scoop to 10 oz of water, milk or a smoothie and blend or shake. It mixes up smooth and creamy, never chalky or gritty, with a lightly sweet flavor that isn’t overpowering. It also works in oatmeal and baking. For ideas, see our recipes on the blog or search @getbetterblends.
I have Crohn's or colitis. Is this right for me?
Talk with your GI care team about whether low FODMAP fits your plan. Our dietitian advisors can also help: book a discovery call with Oswald Digestive Clinic from the section above.
